President Joko Widodo and Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto recently visited the Nusantara Capital (IKN) in East Kalimantan to review the progress of its development. They inspected various infrastructures under construction and expressed positive feedback on the project’s advancement.
President Jokowi praised the development, mentioning the clean air and green environment that they had envisioned for the capital. Minister Prabowo also shared his optimism about the smooth progress of IKN’s development and expressed commitment to its sustainability.
Prabowo mentioned that although it will take time, he believes that IKN will be completed on schedule, possibly within 5-6 years. Both leaders emphasized the importance of continuing the development with the help of experts and resources to ensure its success.
