Prabowo Subianto Engaged in Nonstop Activities from Singapore to Yogyakarta to Jakarta Again

Prabowo Subianto, the President-elect for the 2024-2029 term and Minister of Defense of Indonesia, had a packed schedule from Friday to Monday. On Friday and Saturday, he attended the IISS Shangri-la Dialogue in Singapore, where he met with high-ranking officials from various countries.

During the forum, Prabowo discussed Indonesia’s efforts to aid Gaza and expressed readiness to send peacekeeping troops if needed and requested by the UN. He also mentioned Indonesia’s willingness to send medical personnel and evacuate injured citizens.

After the forum, Prabowo had several bilateral meetings with officials from different countries. On Sunday, he visited Yogyakarta where he delivered national guidance at the Military Academy and toured educational facilities at SMA Taruna Nusantara.

On Monday, Prabowo inspected the installation of clean water pipes in Gunungkidul, aiming to help communities facing a clean water crisis. He then returned to Jakarta for work at the Ministry of Defense and meetings with guests, including the Ambassador of New Zealand.
