Despite his concerns, Albon faced a challenging weekend at Suzuka, where he failed to advance beyond Q1. With Williams struggling, the team turned the race into a test session to gather data and understand the car better. Points were not a realistic target for Albon, who had to deal with issues affecting his performance during the race.
As the season progresses, Williams currently occupies the ninth spot in the constructors’ championship with two points, trailing behind other teams like Cadillac and Aston Martin. Audi leads the group on countback. Despite the challenges faced by Albon and Williams, the team remains committed to improving performance and addressing technical issues to enhance their standing in the championship.
