Cleetus McFarland, also known as Garrett Mitchell, is gearing up to make his NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts (NOAPS) debut at the challenging Rockingham oval. Driving the #33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, a renowned team with six Cup titles, including those won by Dale Earnhardt, McFarland is excited about this opportunity. This debut race is part of a three-race deal lined up for 2026 and 2027, potentially including Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. Tommy’s Express will be supporting McFarland’s efforts, making him a teammate to Jesse Love and Austin Hill, who are currently leading the championship standings.

With a rapidly growing YouTube channel nearing five million subscribers, McFarland is transitioning into a professional stock car racer. Despite a crash in his ARCA debut at Daytona last year, McFarland showed promise with top-ten finishes at Talladega and Charlotte during the 2025 season. His NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut ended prematurely due to a crash, but he bounced back for an 11th place finish in his fifth career ARCA start. The upcoming North Carolina Education Lottery 250 at Rockingham on Easter Weekend will see McFarland taking the wheel of the #33 entry previously driven by Kasey Kahne. It’s a thrilling chapter in McFarland’s racing journey as he continues to pursue his passion for speed and performance in the world of motorsports.
