Jakarta – Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, who is also the President-elect for 2024-2029, accompanied President of Indonesia Joko Widodo at the Inauguration of Members of the Indonesian Parliament at the Nusantara Building, DPR/MPR/DPR RI, on Tuesday (1/10).
Prabowo was seen arriving with Jokowi and they were in the same presidential car with the license plate number RI 1. Jokowi was seen getting out from the left side of the car door while Prabowo got out from the right side.
It is known that both of them departed together after attending the Ceremony commemorating Pancasila Sanctity Day which falls on October 1, 2024 at the Pancasila Sanctity Monument in Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta.
They were also wearing matching suits, with Jokowi in a dark blue suit and red tie, while Prabowo wore a black suit and a grey tie with white stripes. Additionally, both Jokowi and Prabowo were wearing black traditional caps and the Indonesian flag pin on the left side of their chests.
Jokowi and Prabowo walked side by side, and their arrival was greeted by the Secretary General of the Indonesian Parliament Indra Iskandar, they shook hands and exchanged smiles and greetings.
Next, Jokowi and Prabowo walked together towards the Nusantara Building corridor to take a photo together with the Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) Afifuddin, and several candidates for members of the parliament, and then they entered the Turtle Building together. (RR)
