President Joko Widodo and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto held a virtual meeting with the families of the KRI Nanggala-402 crew during a ceremony on Saturday. The President inquired about the housing and educational facilities provided to the families, and received positive feedback from one of the aid recipients, Mrs. Irma Dewi, the widow of Captain Adi Sonata. The housing assistance, which included 53 housing units, was personally delivered by Prabowo in April 2022. The families expressed gratitude for the support and highlighted the convenient access to essential amenities such as healthcare and education. The government’s efforts to improve the living conditions of the KRI Nanggala-402 crew families were acknowledged during the event.
