The former President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), recently visited President-elect Prabowo Subianto at his residence in Jakarta. SBY arrived in the afternoon and had a private discussion with Prabowo over lunch and coffee, lasting about an hour.
Prabowo took to Instagram to thank SBY for the in-depth discussion and shared a photo of them seated at a dining table. They discussed working together for the welfare of the Indonesian people. After the meeting, Prabowo escorted SBY to his car, where they shook hands.
SBY had previously mentioned that he frequently discusses matters with Prabowo and praised his clear ideals, agenda, and targets. The meeting between the two leaders indicates a positive outlook for future cooperation.
