Second, ojo dumeh. This could be interpreted as not being careless or negligent in our actions and decisions. We must be diligent and focused, paying attention to details and making sure everything is done properly.

Lastly, ojo ngoyo. This may mean that we should not give up easily or be discouraged in the face of challenges or difficulties. We must stay strong, persevere and keep moving forward, no matter the obstacles we may encounter.

Reflecting on these three pieces of advice, I realized the profound wisdom and guidance that Pak Harto had imparted to me. These teachings are not just words, but valuable lessons for life and leadership. I carried these principles with me throughout my military career and they have helped me overcome many challenges and achieve success.

Pak Harto’s influence and teachings have had a lasting impact on me and many others. His dedication, hard work, discipline, and strong leadership have inspired generations of Indonesians. He may no longer be with us, but his legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him and learned from him.
