Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto recently provided guidance to cadet officers of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri) at Balai Sudirman, South Jakarta. Addressing 906 cadet officers, including those from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Police, Prabowo emphasized the noble calling of serving in the TNI or Polri.
He stressed the sacrifices and willingness required in their chosen profession, urging them to always defend Indonesia. Prabowo reminded the cadets of their responsibility to safeguard the nation and its people, emphasizing the importance of upholding the national goals outlined in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution.
As the President-elect for 2024-2029, Prabowo highlighted the need to prioritize the protection and welfare of the Indonesian nation above all else, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the country’s safety and security before pursuing infrastructure developments.
